The Knoxville Art Scene is a strong and vibrant one, with over 100 art galleries in Knoxville, ranging from modern to Appalachian crafty to African and other world cultures.

Knoxville Art Exhibit: 4 Corners at A1LabArts

Sara Blair of A1LabArts is curating a new show called 4 Corners, opening on Friday, August 3rd.

4 Corners includes the work of 4 artists - a sculptor, a paper kite and Japanese block print maker, a photographer, and a painter; and it promises to be a powerful and entertaining exhibit.

The Art Market Gallery is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Knoxville.

That means it's one of the longest-running artist-owned galleries in Knoxville, and the art they offer is absolutely fantastic.

The Basement Gallery is one of the newer art galleries in Knoxville; it just opened in Knoxville's Old City on Jackson Avenue last summer.

Knoxvillian, owner and artist T. Michael Martin has an eye for excellent art in the more-modern vein, and his contacts in the art world must be very good, because his shows never lack for very stylish and interesting art.
